COOKIE POLICY
What is a Cookie?
A Cookie (also called Web cookie, HTTP cookie, Internet cookie or Browser cookie) is a small data file placed on your device (e.g., a computer or mobile phone) by the web server when you access and/or use the website(s), mobile application(s), or other online or mobile service(s), herein referred to as the "Site".
Cookies are used as unique identifiers and each cookie is unique to your web browser. The server of the website you are viewing sends the cookie, containing anonymous information, to your computer or mobile phone. Only that server will be able to retrieve or read the contents of that cookie.
Cookies are used by nearly all websites and applications and do not harm your device. Most web browsers accept cookies by default. You can consult your web browser to modify your cookie settings and to remove or reject cookies. Be advised that if you remove or choose not to accept cookies from this site, you may miss out on key features of the site and it may limit the ease of your use of the site.
If this site did not use cookies, the site would consider you a new visitor every time you access a new page on the site, and consequently it would not keep you logged in.
What is a Web Beacon?
A Web Beacon (also known as Web bug, pixel tag or clear GIF) is a tiny graphic with a unique identifier that is often used in combination with Cookies. Web Beacons allow the site to measure the actions of visitors and users using this site, for things like identifying whether a page was visited and identifying whether an email was opened, helping track and measure the performance of the site, to monitor how many visitors view and use the site, to monitor the effectiveness of content, to perform searches and analytics, and to assist with security and administrative functions.
Web Beacons are typically embedded invisibly on web pages (or in an e-mail). Unlike Cookies, you cannot decline Web Beacons.
Why do we use cookies and other similar technologies?
Cookies and similar technologies like Web Beacons are used to help you have a better user experience by personalizing your experience (e.g. layout, sizing, language, etc.), to make it easier to log into the site (login details and your IP address so that it can identify you during your next visits), weather you are visiting the site for the first time or not, the type of browser used, to track your browsing behavior, links clicked, classes purchased, classes given or taken, your device type, and to collect various data, including analytics about how you use and interact with the site. This is used to provide you with more relevant product offerings, a better experience on the site, and to collect, analyze and improve the performance of the site.
These technologies automatically collect data when you use and interact with the site, including metadata, log files, cookie/device IDs, page load time, server response time, and approximate location information to measure site performance and improve the system, including optimizing DNS resolution, network routing and server configurations.
Cookies and other similar technologies allow for the analysis of customer trends by compiling information on individual site visits and analyzing them in aggregated form.
